Due to manufacturer restrictions, we cannot provide you with pricing online.  In order to receive a quotation please contact us either by telephone on (434)792-2414, or by using the inquiry form in the contact section of our Web Site .

Placing an Order / Terms of Payment

If you wish to place an order, either call us on (434)792-2414, or contact us online.  We will provide you with an order form which you can return to us either by fax or by mail.  Please be sure that the information regarding the pieces that you wish to purchases matches our quotation pricing and item numbers.

In order to process your order a minimum deposit of 50% of the total price is required. Payment may be made in the form of personal check, cashier's check, money order, Mastercard or Visa. Sherwood House Furniture reserves the right to require a specific form of payment. All special orders are subject to approval by the manufacturer. A copy of your order will be mailed to you within one week of being processed. Any descrepancies or questions should be addressed at this time. No refunds or exchanges will be made once your order has been processed. Your order will be delivered upon receipt of the balance due.

Your balance MUST BE PAID BY CHECK.

Delivery

Delivery will be made by a reputable in home delivery service. This delivery must be accepted within 30 days of the receipt of your merchandise in our facilities. You will be contacted by someone to set a delivery date. Any merchandise held over 30 days is subject to a monthly storage fee of 3% of the purchase price.

Sherwood House Furniture will warrant that all merchandise is shipped in a condition approved by the manufacturer. Your furniture will be inspected prior to shipment for any damage or manufacturer defects. Sherwood House Furniture reserves the right to delay delivery or backorder damaged or defective merchandise. Your furniture will be delivered by an insured deliverer. Damage upon delivery will be serviced by the deliverer with the assistance of Sherwood House Furniture. Sherwood House Furniture will not be held liable for damages inflicted by the delivery service.

Warranties

Most manufacturers will warrant their merchandise for specified times. These manufacturer warranties start upon receipt of your merchandise to our facilities. We will assist you in warranty claims that may arise. Sherwood House Furniture does not offer any additional warranties.

Cancellations

Sherwood House Furniture cannot accept cancellations on orders which have already begun the procurement process. We may, at our discretion, make an exception in which case a restocking charge in the amount of the down payment will be charged. If an order can be canceled with the manufacturer, there will be no penalty and the down payment will be refunded, minus the credit card charges.

Sales Tax

Sherwood House Furniture is not required to collect sales tax from persons residing outside the state of Virginia. Each state has its own requirements and policies. It is the responcibility of the individual to pay any use tax applicable in the state in which they reside.

Legal Jurisdiction

This agreement will be governed by and construed in accordance with the Laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.  Exclusive jurisdiction is granted to the courts of Danville, Virginia.

Privacy Statement

Sherwood House Furniture will not sell or lease the information you provide to us online. We respect your privacy and only collect information required for purchases.
